Launch of LANA Fund Analyzer
Summit, NJ, February 22, 1999 - Lipper Inc. today announced the launch of its new Windows based fund analysis
application, LANA Fund Analyzer. This new service is an extension of Lipper's mutual fund information database that is
tailored to meet the research needs of the fund management business. The new Analyzer allows investment companies
to easily review and distill data based on their screening criteria.
The new service provides many enhancements including:
Easy access to Lipper fund information
Greater analytical flexibility to create custom peer groups
Performance charts, including bar, relative bar, floating bar, and scatter plot charts
Instant custom ranks
Fast electronic delivery
Subscribers to LANA Fund Analyzer also receive an electronic PDF file of the related Lipper performance publication and
the fax service, Lipper Flash Ranking. The entire LANA Fund Analyzer package can be delivered on a weekly, monthly or
quarterly basis.

LANA Fund Analyzer is a derivative of Lipper Analytical New Applications (LANA), Lipper’s Windows NT® proprietary fund
