Requirements: First, research the person you have been given. Take notes to ensure that you find information that is both pertinent and relevant. Next, include each of the following sections as part of your Facebook profile. About Me section to introduce your journalist/photojournalist to the class. For this section, you need to include: o Work and Education o An “about me” paragraph written from the point of view of the journalist/photojournalist. o Basic Info to include birthday, sex, relationship status, anniversary (if relevant), religious views, and political views. o Hometown o Contact information: you may need to make this up, but it should be relevant to your research o Favorite Quotations o Personal Information including activities, interests, favorite music, favorite movies, favorite tv shows, favorite books (you will probably need to make these up! Make it relevant to your research). A “Friends” section where you list 8-10 (complete with photos and names) people who are affiliated with this person. A “Photo” section whereas you include at least 8 photos that are either of the person you are representing or photos that the person would find relevant. A photojournalist, for example, might include a combination of photos of him/herself and photos he/she has taken. A “Likes” section where you list at least 8 different things there person might like. Even if your person has passed away, you can make some reasonable guesses, based on your research, of some more modern things he/she might “like”. A “Wall” with at least 10 status updates that the person might reasonably place, given the research you’ve done. At least 5 comments under status updates by “friends” of this person who might be interested in the updates. Other Options: If you’d like, you may include games this person might play, groups he/she would be in, or a family tree.
