ASSIGNMENTS TO BE USED AS MAKE UP WORK FOR EXCUSED ABSENCES FROM SCHOOL Any student that misses school due to an excused absence can now choose one of these assignments as a make up score for that missed day. It is the student’s responsibility to choose an assignment and turn it into Mrs. Bernard within 48 hours of the absence to have the zero removed from the daily score total. I appreciate the effort that parents/students have made to contact me to obtain an absence assignment, but this should prove easier for all parties to accomplish. Please continue to inform me of intended absences as well as those of illness. Some of the following assignments will have a multiple day value (40 points) while others will work as missed labs. Any of these assignments will suffice as an option for a missed excused day. Please try to select a make up assignment from the current chapter being discussed in class, or a prior chapter within the same unit. Unit Two-Chemistry—Chapters 5-8 make up work. 1.
