Goals: To continue an environment of safety, respect, rapport& learning between myself and students with attainable
goals. To offer related theory that applies to the practical cosmetology skills, develop professionalism & good
communication / customer skills...Develop Professionalism: student begin to think about ways of achieving standards
& how to grow professionally through practice, to work as a team and develop work ethics
Unit 19: Anatomy & Physiology: Integumentary (Skin) & Muscular Systems of the body. Obtain the theory of
purposes, functions, & safe treatments in reference to Cosmetology services performed.
Unit 22: Nail and Facial Services (22.2.2) Explain special skin conditions and corrective treatments. (22.5.3) Examine
skin anatomy, types and disorders.
Strategies: Select instructional goals from the Cosmetology Course of Study & Human Services Pathway
