Daka Narimanbeyli Dear friends! I’m Daka, and I'll be your guide during the International Chemistry Olympiad. I majored in Spanish in the Lomonosov Moscow State University. During my university years, I devoted myself to the analysis of political speeches and strategies of influencing people with the only weapon ‐ the word. I'm considered a judicious person when it comes to problem – solving. I'm a person with whom it's always possible to speak openly, and I very much prefer listening with interest to different points of view, to arguing. I think that each person has his or her own truth, and that is just perfect. I am fascinated with art and sculpture and I paint. I'm also fond of literature, especially scientific and psychological. I am interested in spirituality problems and soul questions and I work on my intellectual and spiritual development every day. Besides, I'm a big fan of sports, and now I can't imagine my life without boxing any more. I think that any kind of sports (but especially “aggressive” sports) can help to promote release of negative emotions, and it's a good way to be free of destructive thoughts. I am not frightened by human emotions and don’t try to hide my feelings. Actually, it is better to do what you want now and feel sorry about it later, than feel sorry for the rest of your life because you didn’t try. I hope that we will become friends. I wish you best of luck at the Olympiad! Estimados amigos! Me llamo Daka. Estudié español como la lengua principal en la Universidad Estatal Lomonosov de Moscú. Durante mi estancia en la universidad, me dediqué al análisis de los discursos políticos y a los aspectos de estrategias de manipulación de las personas cuya arma es la palabra. Me considero una persona razonable en la solución de cualquier problema, tranquila pero abierta a nuevos amigos. Prefiero escuchar diferentes puntos de vista sobre algún tema con interés que discutir. Creo que cada persona tiene su propia verdad y eso es perfecto. Me encanta el arte y la escultura, practico la pintura. Estoy aficionada a la literatura, especialmente a la literatura científica y psicológica. Me interesan los problemas de la espiritualidad del alma, siempre tengo tiempo para meditar y trabajo más cada día en mi desarrollo intelectual y espiritual. Además, soy una gran aficionada del deporte, ya no me puedo imaginar mi vida sin el boxeo. Me parece que practicar el deporte (agresivo sobre todo) es un buen modo para liberarse de los pensamientos negativos. Siempre intento mostrar mis sentimientos. De verdad, es mejor hacer lo que quieres hacer ahora y lamentarlo un par de días después, que pensar y pensar sin parar y lamentarse toda la vida. No siempre tengo la oportunidad de practicar mi lengua, por eso estoy muycontenta de trabajar con ustedes y espero que nos hagamos amigos. Les deseo suerte en la Olimpíada Internacional de Química!
