Housing Authority of the City of New Britain
Announces the opening of the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list. This program offers rent
subsidies in the City of New Britain. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Applicants must
meet all U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development eligibility guidelines and must not exceed the
following income limits posted below.

Pre-applications for the Section 8 waiting list must be mailed to:

Only Pre-applications postmarked between Tuesday, October 13, 2015 and Friday, October 16, 2015 will be
accepted. One pre-application form per family will be accepted. Duplicate pre-applications will be disregarded.
Only pre-applications that are complete and legible will be accepted. All information will be verified prior to the
issuance of a voucher.
One thousand (1,000) Pre-applications for the Section 8 Program will be placed on the waiting list in
chronological order as determined by lottery. Only those selected will be notified via mail.

Anucia la aperture de los boletos para la lista de espera de Seccion 8. Este programa ofrece subsidios para
alquiler en la ciudad de New Britain. Todo solicitante debe de tener 18 años de edad o mas para solicitar. Los

Solamente pre-solicitudes con matasello entre Martes, Octubre 13, 2015 y Viernes, Octubre 16, 2015 seran
aceptadas. Un formulario de pre-solicitud por familia sera aceptada. Toda informacion se verificara anterior a
entrega de boleto.
Mil (1000) pre-aplicaciones para la seccion 8 ira a una lista de espera, y en orden cronologico como es
determinado por loteria. Solamente los escogido se le notificara por correo.
