WHY USE
MTP
88-30?
88-30 is concentrated and designed to be reduced with water prior to application. Generally, blending
with electric drill and mixer is recommended.
1 gallon 88-30 to 1 gallon water...first application.
1 gallon 88-30 to up to 5 gallons...recoating.
Some paints have high levels of metal acetate salts or
combinations of iodized carbamates, etc. which can kill turf.
Other paints might be overruns or mistinted which are then
modified for athletic turf. MTP Athletic Field Marking Paints
are specifically designed for athletic fields and will not harm turf.
They actually enhance root growth and permit photosynthesis to
continue through the paint film.
Remember, the lowest cost product may not be the best. Plus,
painting more frequently costs more than using the best paint.
MTP Athletic Field Marking Paints being concentrated will
save you money because the dilution ratios will lower your
expense to mark and remark your fields.
For first field marking, mix on a one-to-one ratio (one part paint
to one part water); but for remarking mix at up to a one-to-five
ratio.

Foul Pole & Goal Post Paint System
RECOMENDATIONS:
Saturn yellow is a fluorescent paint that requires a white primer undercoat. Light passes through the transparent yellow then reflects off of
the white primer to get the glow. The clear protector will extend the life of this system. If you don't apply the Filterray clear UV protector over
the yellow you can expect about two years life. If you use the clear protector you can expect four years or more life.
For two gooseneck goal posts we recommend two gallons of #63 White Primer, two gallons of #64 Saturn Yellow and two gallons of the #65
Filteray Clear coat.
We do offer a less expensive alternative. A 100% Acrylic white or yellow that does not glow and does not need the clear coat. You can expect a couple of years usage, see #66 below. We recommend two gallons for two goal posts, or one gallon for 2 foul poles.

PRIOR TO APPLICATION
Cut turf to desired height. One gallon (3.78 liters) will cover 4,000 to 12,000 square feet (370-1115 m2)
of turf. The area covered will vary with the rate used, type and condition of grass being treated, and turf
color desired. Typically a 1:7 colorant to water ratio is recommended on dormant turf, and a 1:15 ratio on
other turf.
DIRECTIONS
Dormant Application: Dilute one gallon (3.78 liters) with 7 to 9 gallons (26-34 liters) of water. For a darker
turf color, reduce the volume of water. Some experimentation may be required with the water to colorant
ratio to obtain the exact color desired.
Non-Dormant Application: Dilute one gallon (3.78 liters) with 15 to 20 gallons (56-75 liters) of water.
Again, the application rate depends on the desired color. For best results on any discolored area, two
applications are recommended to blend te colored area in with the surrounding healthy turf.
CAUTION
Keep out of the reach of children. Do not take internally. In case of eye contact, flush with large amounts
of water and consult a physician. In case of ingestion, dilute with water or milk and consult a physician.
Do not re-use this container. Rinse contents into the spray tank and crush prior to disposal. Do not apply to food or feed crops or grain after harvest. A spray shield is recommended for applications if overspray or drift is potential problem.
Avoid overspray on concrete, masonry, or any other objects where color is not desired. Permanent staining may occur. Accidental overspray may be removed by a water rinse prior to drying. Rinse spray tank,
spray nozzles, and screens thoroughly with water immediately following use. Use with centrifugal pumps
may cause seals to leak. For best results, use low to medium sprayer pressure.
If this product is mixed with pesticides, the entire mixture, including rinsate, must be handled and disposed of according to all applicable local, state, and federal guidelines.

NewRider™ 5000 Airless Riding Field Line Striper
The NewRider™ 5000 Airless Riding Field Line Striper is the first true ride-on
airless paint striping machine designed to produce the brightest, straightest lines
available on natural or artificial turf. Front wheel drive with rear steer produces
straighter lines than comparable front steer machines. The airless pump with
adjustable pressure lets you dial in the spray so you spray “just the turf” without
wasting paint or injecting the soil or disturbing the rubber filling. The front swivel
caster follows ground contours for consistent line width. Plus, an adjustable tilt
steering column and high back seat provide operator comfort and let you enter
and exit the machine with ease.
The NewRider™ 5000 Airless Riding Field Line Striper gives you:
Straighter Lines - The NewRider™ 5000 has front wheel drive with rear steering. Placing the spray gun closer to the pivot point of the machine means less
movement of the spray gun compared to movement of the steering wheel. The
low seat height of just 30” and center spray head allow you to sight down existing

PerfectCircle - Paint absolutely perfect circles and arcs easier and faster than ever
before. The spray head's unique spring-loaded feature precisely and automatically
guides the paint machine in a perfect circle. Locate the center of the circle or arc to be

between the spray head and the pivot point. Then, simply push the machine and let the
