Your employment at La Casa is contingent upon receiving Federal Work Study every semester
you work for La Casa. Have you verified your Federal Work Study eligibility for 2011-12? If
available, attach a copy of your federal work study verification with your application.
List name, position and contact information of one referent. Your referent should be someone
who knows you in a professional, supervisory or academic capacity.
In a cover letter, explain:
a) How you would contribute to La Casa’s campus presence?
b) What specific ideas would you have for one or more areas of La Casa’s student staff
assignments listed above?
c) Some student staff serve as coordinators of specific events or yearlong projects. These might
include Latina/o Youth Conference, the Pen Pal Program, or Fiesta cultural celebration. If you
would like to be considered for a coordinator position, please describe how you would
coordinate a large-scale project and recruit others to your team.
Please list all organizations with which you are currently involved: Are you planning to work
another job while working La Casa? If so, how many hours each week?
