The Starbucks Foundation - Starbucks Shared Planet Youth Action Grants The Starbucks Shared Planet Youth Action Grants are designed to help young people realize their natural potential to reinvent their local communities. The Starbucks Foundation accepts applications from organizations that provide young people (ages 6 to 24) with a continuum of service opportunities in social entrepreneurship. Grants will range from $10,000 to $25,000. To be eligible, US applicants must be taxexempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Specifically, the foundation wishes to fund community-based programs that address active lifestyles and team building skills to children, especially to disadvantage and special needs children. Grants range from $1,000 to $5,000 each. All 501(c)(3) youth athletic organizations are eligible to apply. Active Living Research and RWJF New Connections Funding Opportunities (CFP10) Active Living Research is pleased to announce the release of our Call for Proposals (CFP) – Round 10. This CFP focuses on supporting research to inform policy and environmental strategies for increasing physical activity among children and adolescents, decreasing their sedentary behaviors and preventing obesity. This CFP consists of grant opportunities for specified research topics and dissertation awards. It also includes funding opportunities for New Connections grants made available through the Active Living Research program. New Connections grants through Active Living Research are for new investigators who have been historically disadvantaged or underrepresented in research activities. All proposals must be submitted through The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Grantmaking Online system.
