b. Please state the location of project impact / where you live. You must live in one of the above cities.
c. If you have endorsement or support of youth worker, school or college, please give contact details
d. If your idea is selected, you will be asked to come to a training day
e. You idea should be something that you feel makes a real difference to the local community

About Your Project:
1. What is the name of your project?
2. How many young people are involved in your project (including yourself )?
3. Please tell us about your project and the difference it will make to the young people in your community. It is important you give us as much detail as possible: what is your idea, what is unique about it, how your project will run, where will it take
place, what does the activity look like?

4. Who will directly benefit from your project and how? How many people will benefit?
5. How is your project unique to your location/community? What issues will it address?
6. What challenges or obstacles do you think you may encounter during your project? Who can help you overcome these - do you have a youth worker or teacher supporting you? Please be aware that if your project requires certain ‘deal breakers’ in place for
it to run, this must already be established. E.g. if you need to get permission from the
council to use their land, this must already be in place.

7. What is your project timeline? If your application was successful how long will it take to get your project up and running? What preparation/lead in time do you need?
8. Budget: use the box below to tell us what your total project budget is and how much
you are requesting from Youth Action. Please note, we cannot pay for staff costs. Then
use the budget sheet to fill out a more detailed budget plan.

Budget – Please complete this budget sheet which asks you to itemise total project costs. There is a separate column for items you would like Youth Action to
fund and costs which will be covered through other means (in kind/different grants). Please include additional support you might need, such as refreshments.
Youth Action can pay grants of up to £2000 or €2000. Your grant cannot be used towards staffing costs.
