Pay your first month’s rent
Remember to bring a check or money order with you when you come to pick up keys. You can also visit our
website and pay online at www.fairmontpm.com (click “Pay Online” to get started). We do not accept cash.
 Rent may be mailed to Fairmont’s office at: 2927 N. Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60657.
 Please include your building address and unit number on your check and make the check payable to
2341 Janssen Partnership.
 Fairmont can only accept one rent check per unit so if you have roommates, please consolidate all
payments into one check.
Contact People’s Energy to set up gas service
Please contact People’s Energy at 866-556-6001 to register gas in your/your roommate’s name. Or visit
them online at www.peoplesgasdelivery.com
Contact ComEd to set up electric service
Please contact ComEd at 800-334-7661 to register electricity in your/your roommate’s name. Or visit them
online at www.comed.com
Renter’s insurance
Renter’s insurance is required at time of move-in. A good place to start your search for a quote is
www.rentersinsurance.net. Fairmont does not cover your personal property.
Schedule cable and internet installation
We suggest you call Comcast to get the best deal as well as set up your installation: 800-934-6489 or
www.comcast.com
Schedule movers or reserve a moving truck
You can get free quotes from a half dozen local moving companies at www.moving.com. You can book your
own truck with U-Haul at 1-800-GO-U-HAUL (1-800-468-4285) or www.uhaul.com.
Set up a forwarding address with the United States Postal Service
The US Postal Service makes it easy for your mail to follow you to your new home. You can learn how by
