Quiz and exam questions are based on learning objectives. Answers to learning objectives will be addressed in lecture and assigned readings. 2. Unit quizzes will be given each Monday except the week of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day; in this week the unit quiz will be given on Wednesday. One unit quiz will be dropped. If you are absent or late, that quiz will be dropped. No make-up quizzes will be given. 3. Make-up exams must be arranged with your instructor prior to exam date. 4. Study Guide Exercises will be completed/are due in class each Friday. No late Study Guide Exercises will be accepted. 5. Learning Objectives will be completed and handed in each week. Your instructor will assign the dates these are due. 6. Due dates for the research project and optional credit assignments will be assigned by your instructor. All work must be typewritten. No late assignments will be accepted. 7. To successfully complete and receive credit for the course, students must receive a minimum of 60% of the total points from lecture and from lab (see lab syllabus for lab points). Students who do not successfully complete the course will receive a grade of W (withdrawal) , NP (no pass), or F (fail), depending on the decision of the instructor.
