Case Study: MACP MIS REI is current enhancing and supporting a web enabled MIS for MACP. This MIS provides a data-driven platform for Project officials to take timely decisions. The MIS functions are segregated according to the Government of Maharashtra’s three Line Departments that are relevant to the MACP. These department units function as Project Implementation Units (PIUs). PIUs Nodal Officials are using the MIS application to monitor district level progress by accessing analytical reports from all districts, for their own unit’s data. In addition, District level officials can view and update field level work progress data for their district using the access controlled MIS online interfaces. At the same time, Project Coordination Unit (PCU) officials utilize the MIS application to perform desk monitoring pertaining to a specific activity /district; we well as, for MACP overall. The MIS also provides customizable dashboards interface that enables executives and other users to view different charts and reports based user authentication and access rules.
