MORNING SNACK GRADES K-2 Dear Parents, Students in Grades K-2 are being asked to bring in a morning snack each day to bridge the gap between breakfast and lunch thus enhancing their concentration and learning. Each child will be provided a container that they must use to transport their snack to school each day. We ask that you look at what a “serving size” is for the particular snack you are sending in and try to keep the portion of the snack a serving size. All the approved snacks are finger foods and require no spoon or fork. If a child forgets his snack during the first month of school we will have a snack on hand for them. After the first month, we will not be able to provide a snack for those who forget. Below is a list of the snacks students should choose from. Please remember to clean the snack containers and water bottles on a regular basis. We appreciate your cooperation. Thank you!
