Credit Repair Loan NEWS BRIEFS Do you know your current credit score? This score is used by financial institutions to determine the rate you will be charged for a loan or credit card, by employers when considering offering you a job, and even by management companies where you want to rent an apartment. You can obtain your free credit report annually at freecreditreport.com, and it’s a great idea to incur the additional fee to obtain your credit score. Deposit Your Tax Refunds Electronically If you do your taxes early, now is the time to set up the direct deposit of your tax refund to Credit Union Advantage. Here’s the information you need for any direct deposit to your Credit Union: 1) Credit Union Advantage’s routing number – 272485039 2) Your Credit Union account number, plus two zeros at the end of the number. 3) The account type to make the deposit – savings or checking. If your score is low, we have a great way to help you build your score! If you are receiving a tax refund, deposit that money in your credit union savings account and use it as collateral for a Share Secured Loan. As you pay down your balance, that money becomes available to you, but as you are making your payments on time, you are repairing your credit score.
