Vanguard Emerging Markets Stock Index Admiral Shares (VEMAX) – The Vanguard Emerging Markets Index Fund seeks to track
the performance of a benchmark index that measures the investment return of stocks issued by companies located in emerging market
countries.
Vanguard International Growth Admiral Shares (VWILX) – The Vanguard International Growth Portfolio seeks capital appreciation;
income is incidental. The fund invests in a diversified array of non-US. equity securities, primarily common stocks of seasoned companies.
Vanguard Extended Market Index Institutional Shares (VIEIX) – The Vanguard Extended Market Index seeks to match the
performance of the Standard & Poor’s Completion Index. This index consists of more than 5,000 small to medium size US common stocks
traded on the New York Stock Exchange, the American Exchange or NASDAQ. These stocks are not included in the S&P 500 Index.
Vanguard Growth Index Institutional Shares (VIGIX) – The Vanguard Growth Index seeks to track the performance of a benchmark
index that measures the investment return of large-capitalization growth stocks. The fund employs an indexing investment approach
designed to track the performance of the CRSP Large Cap Growth Index, a broadly diversified index predominantly made up of growth
stocks of large U.S. companies. It attempts to replicate the target index by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that
make up the index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the index.
Vanguard 500 Index Admiral Shares (VFIAX) – The Vanguard Index 500 seeks investment results that correspond with the price and
yield performance of the S&P 500 index. The fund allocates the percentage of net assets each company receives on the basis of the stock’s
relative total-market value: its market price per share multiplied by the number of shares outstanding.
Vanguard Windsor II Admiral Shares (VWNAX) – The Vanguard Windsor II Fund seeks long term growth of capital; current income is
secondary. The fund invests primarily in undervalued stocks of medium and large companies, characterized by above average dividend
yields and below average price/earnings ratios relative to the stock market.
Vanguard LifeStrategy Growth (VASGX) – The Vanguard LifeStrategy Growth Portfolio seeks growth of capital. The fund typically
allocates assets within the following ranges: 65% to 90% of assets in stocks, 10% to 35% in bonds and up to 25% in cash equivalents.
Rather than investing directly in securities, it invests in a combination of several underlying Vanguard funds. The fund is non-diversified.
Vanguard Balanced Index Admiral Shares (VBIAX) – The Vanguard Balanced Index seeks to track the performance of a broad, marketweighted bond index and a benchmark index that measures the investment return of the overall U.S. stock market. The fund employs an
indexing investment approach designed to track the performance of two benchmark indexes. With approximately 60% of assets, it seeks to
track the investment performance of the MSCI US Broad Market Index, which represents 99.5% or more of the total market capitalization
of all U.S. common stocks. The fund also seeks to track the investment performance of the Barclays Capital U.S. Aggregate Float Adjusted
Index with 40% of assets.
Vanguard Intermediate-Term US Treasury Admiral Shares (VFIUX) – The Vanguard fixed-Income Securities Fund IntermediateTerm US Treasury Portfolio seeks current income consistent with maintenance of principal and liquidity. The fund normally invests at
least 85% of assets in intermediate- term US Treasury notes and bonds and other guaranteed US government obligations. It may invest the
balance of assets in other US government securities, including repurchase agreements on such securities. The fund ordinarily maintains an
average weighted maturity of between five and ten years.
Vanguard Prime Money Market – The Vanguard Money Market Reserves seeks to provide current income and to maintain liquidity and
a stable share price of $1.00. The portfolio focuses on high-quality, short-term money market instruments, such as securities backed by the
full faith and credit of the US Government, securities issued by US Government agencies, or obligations issued by corporations and
financial institutions.
