TERMS OF AGREEMENT
FOOD AND BEVERAGE ORDERS
A food and beverage menu must be received ten (10) business days prior to your event date unless prior arrangements have been made with management. All price
quotes are subject to change 30-days prior to your event date.
Final guarantees, not subject to reduction, must be received five (5) business days prior to event date unless prior arrangements have been made by management.
Increases to final guarantees must be received within 24 hours of your scheduled event . National Holidays are not considered working days and should be taken
into consideration when submitting confirmation. If a guaranteed guest count is not received, Peppino's Catering Company reserves the right to charge for the
highest estimated guest count given. Increases received (36) hours will be accommodated. Additional charges will apply.
We accommodate Vegetarian, Vegan, Dairy Free, and Gluten/Wheat Free and any other dietary or allergy needs. Please consult with your event designer on special
menu requirements. Additional charges may apply. Ask about menu items that are cooked to order or served raw. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry,
seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
STAFFING AND SERVICE CHARGES
All staffed events are subject to a 20% gratuity. A 10% service charge is applied to all drop-off service. Offsite catering may be subject to a mileage surcharge based
upon the distance traveled. Ask your coordinator for more information. A 6% Michigan sales tax is applied to all events. If your event is tax exempt, a current copy of
the Michigan Sales Tax Exemption Certificate must be provided to your event coordinator prior to your event date.
Peppino’s is not responsible for shortages resulting from self-service buffets. Food quality cannot be guaranteed if client delays agreed food service time by 30
minutes or more. A service charge will apply for all additional off-premise deliveries. All buffet service items are provided for a maximum of two hours to ensure
food quality and presentation. Service beyond two hours will be subject to additional charges. Please coordinate service times with the event coordinator.
ALCOHOL POLICY
Peppino’s possesses a State of Michigan liquor license. In the interest of protecting our patrons and the general public, Peppino’s Catering and its employees have
the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to any patron or guest who by his or her behavior or appearance is believed to be incapable of tolerating further
alcohol consumption. Peppino’s reserves the right to request a valid form of identification to serve any guest and to refuse to service of alcohol to anyone without
proper identification. All alcohol must be purchased through Peppino’s Catering Co. Peppino’s reserves the right to refuse service and shut down beverage service to
clients unwilling to comply. Our license allows us to provide alcoholic beverages for off-site events. Please contact our catering manager for further details and
pricing.
EVENT TIMELINE
For specialized events and groups over 100 people, the client is to provide a timeline of events to include, but not limited to; the time of guest arrival,
toasts/speakers, dinner service, breaks, etc.. Please include additional contacts and outside vendor information (i.e.: Venue, DJ, Floral etc.).
CANCELLATION POLICY
The following cancellation policies apply:
If cancelled by the Customer 2 business days or less of the event, client will be responsible for 100% of the quoted service.
If cancelled 3-7 business days prior to event date, client will be responsible for 50% of the quoted food service.
If cancellation is made 8-business days or more from event date, client will not be responsible for paying a cancellation fee.
Peppino’s Catering Co. reserves the right to cancel any event no less than 30 days prior to the scheduled date. Cancellations made under the above provision(s) shall
be made by the canceling party to the non-cancelling party by written notice and payment of cancellation fee (if applicable).
LEFTOVERS
Peppino’s Catering will not be responsible for boxing up leftover food after an event. If the client would like any leftover food to be boxed up, a request is to be
made prior to the event date with arrangement of who will be taking the food. Boxed food must be removed from the kitchen immediately following dinner service.
Peppino’s Catering does not recommend that clients take home leftover food and is not responsible for any illness that might occur. Even if arrangements with
client to take home food are made, Peppino’s still reserves the right to discard any food items where there is a reasonable risk of foodborne illness to occur.
ADDITIONAL PRICING
Linen for food and beverage tables, registration tables, and some guest tables are reflected in pricing. Any additional linen needed will be charged accordingly.
FINAL PAYMENT
Payment is expected to be postmarked fourteen (14) days after receiving an invoice. For payment, Peppino’s Catering Co. accepts cash, credit card (MasterCard,
Visa, and American Express) and in some cases local checks with proof of identification and management approval. Due to increased credit card expenses, credit
card purchases greater than $2,500 are subject to a 2.5% service charge.
