Role Profile Job Title: Extra Care – Catering Assistant Responsible to: Catering Manager Responsible for: N/A Job Purpose To assist in the delivery of the catering services within the Extra Care Scheme To deliver the catering services to a high quality and in line with health and safety and food safety regulatory requirements Accountabilities Resource management To make the best use of resources to ensure a high level of service to customers is maintained at all times. Kitchen and restaurant To assist in the preparation and cooking of the meals. To ensure the required checks and inspections are undertaken in line with Food Safety Regulations and Health and Safety requirements. To clean the kitchen and associated areas to ensure the cleanliness of the catering facility is maintained to the highest standard. Resident liaison/support To listen and consult with residents enabling their participation in all matters which affect them. To respond to all resident enquiries promptly. To liaise with colleagues on all matters effecting the wellbeing of residents. Client Liaison To liaise with clients providing high levels of customer excellence. July 2013 Quality control To ensure all tasks undertaken are performed to the required standard.
