This series consists of 2 separate sessions.
Treatment for Behavioural and Psychological
Symptoms of Dementia
Session 1: December 4th, 9:30 – 10:30 AM ET
An interactive talk with Dr. Rob Madan, Baycrest’s Chief of
Psychiatry. Participants can type in questions during the session,
which will also be archived.
Learning objectives:
 Describe the evidence for psychosocial interventions for BPSD
and apply 1 new technique
 Describe the evidence for pharmacological interventions for
BPSD
 Provide some useful tools for managing BPSD
Session 2: Dec 12th, 12:00 – 1:00 PM ET
“Office Hours” hosted by Dr. R. Madan & Dr. Colleen Rae, a
Psychologist, who will be available to answer your questions
about this topic.

