Blood Type Reactions Lab. Determine how different
blood types will react when mixed. See pg. 558-559 in
your textbooks. THIS LAB WILL BE DONE AS A
CLASS.
Design a Water Park. On a poster, draw in color the
plans for the greatest water park in the world…the
Human Body. Include arteries, veins, capillaries,
blood cells, heart and lymphatic system. Have fun!
Make a Clot Model. We know it is important for our
blood to clot so we don’t bleed to death, but what is
really going on. Zoom in on a clot and make a 3-D
model with labels. Use the internet and other
resources if you need more information.
Compare Cardiovascular System and Lymphatic
System to Your Plumbing. Write a paragraph or make
a poster depicting the similarities and differences of
your plumbing and how blood gets around your body.
Be sure to name or label all of the parts (ex: veins,
arteries, capillaries, lymph nodes, water filter, drain
pipes, sewer pipe, water pump, water heater, etc).
Get Creative. Find a creative way to show what you
know. For example, make a web page, commercial or
do a podcast---anything that sounds interesting,
challenging and fun to you!
