Design Your Own Lab
Your group will design an experiment using the sponge
animal capsules. In the process, you will review how
scientists design and conduct experiments, and you will also
learn how to present scientific lab data.
Requirements
1. The experiment must be able to be completed within
one 45-minute class period.
2. The experiment must be ethical.
3. Each group member must contribute to the experiment.
4. The experiment must be measurable.
5. Data must be recorded using the basic units of the
metric system (meters, Liters, grams).
6. Data must be presented using some kind of graph.
7. You must state whether or not your hypothesis was
supported.
