Reply To: J254O 15 Apr 98 MEMORANDUM FOR SENIOR AIRMAN XXXXXX X. XXXXXXXXXXX Subject: Letter of Counseling (LOC) 1. Sgt Xxxxx X. Xxxxxxxxx, you are being counseled on your failure to make timely payments to your DPP account. I have received three notices, the latest dated 19 May 96, indicating you are not even meeting your minimum payment requirements. The first two you were able to immediately produce receipts indicating payment just at the “cutoff” date. 2. As a sergeant in the United States Air Force, you are obligated to pay your bills on time. Failure to do so could result in automatic deduction IN FULL from your monthly military pay. I am sure this would create havoc with your other financial obligations which could then “steam roll” into a series of other non-payments and additional penalties. 3. Since YOU are accountable for this indebtedness, you are to immediately contact the appropriate office and make whatever restitution’s they require. I suggest you also make future payments yourself and not allow anyone else to put your career in jeopardy. 4. You are a NCO within my section and I expect you to set the example for the airmen. The United States Air Force and I will not tolerate continued notices of non-payment. Any further problems along this line could result in severe repercussions to your military career. 5. You will sign the indorsement stating you acknowledge receipt of this counseling. You are free to add any comments on the bottom of this letter. YOUR N. AME MSgt, USAF Duty Title 1st Ind.
