It was the largest dome made of brick and concrete and was 6 meters thick and 20 feet
high.

Hannibal never gave up and was determined to beat the Romans no matter what.

He left Rome and attacked the unguarded women and children of Carthage, forcing the
Carthaginian army to protect their families.

3. Explain what Pax Romana means and how it impacted the Empire.
Pax Romana means Roman Peace. It impacted the empire because it allowed the
people to focus on other things aside from their broken government. They were
well protected by their army, they had good laws that protected them, and stable
government. This allowed the people to attend shows at the coliseum and the
circuses, create new technologies, and design new forms of art and architecture. For
about 200 years, being Roman was a luxury in the ancient world.
