Social 10-1: Identity Collage
As we have been discovering over the past couple of weeks
globalization has an effect on our identity as we are exposed to new
and exciting possibilities and encounter many difficulties as we sift
through all of the information that is at our fingertips. We change as we
embrace our globalizing world.
Your mission is to create a collage about you, a visual representation of
who you are; your identity in this interconnected world. You will use
materials (pictures, poems, certificates, drawings, quotes, etc.) that
you have brought from home and magazines provided for you in class.
I can make photocopies of original items that you do not want to cut
up. Once you have completed your collage you must complete a short
written description about the items included in your collage and how
they represent you.
Example: A hockey stick because I have played hockey all my life, I am
currently in try-outs for an AAA team in Leduc.
*Make sure you go beyond simply saying: A hockey stick, because I
like it. If there is more to the story, include it please.
