SUMMARY
From 1981, eight years experience with I.B.M., in the area of telecommunication products development, in La
Gaude, France, and in the U.S.A. in close relationship with sales and marketing.
Then, with Hewlett-Packard, responsible at the European level for the marketing of communications products
(until 08/90), and later for the marketing of HP computer systems business in the telecommunications industry.
In 09/92, Managing Director Unisource France (created the company from the start), and (04/95) MD SIRIS,
a joint-venture I initiated back in 1993 between UNISOURCE and Compagnie Générale des Eaux, which
objective was to become the second telecom operator in France.
From 1996 to 2002, “Président-Directeur Général”, Cap Gemini Telecom Media Networks France, with direct
operational responsibility over the French CAP GEMINI Telecom subsidiary (1350 people), and member of the
management committee of the Global Business Unit Telecom, Media and Networks. In charge of Southern
Europe, France & Central Europe of “Telecom, Media, Networks” (CAP GEMINI ERNST&YOUNG) from
2001 to 07/2002. (Around 2500 people). Then, Vice President Capgemini E&Y from 2002 to 2004.
From April 2005 to September 2010, member of the executive committee and managing director of the
Worldwide Telecommunications & Media BU at BULL.

 Strategy
- Develop “service offerings” with major partners in order to be ahead of competition and sustain growth,
in particular on emerging markets or technologies (e.g. develop in advance a close relationship with
CISCO to address the “new-world” which led to an 870 M€ CISCO investment in CAP GEMINI)).

This requires having a “vision” based on a strong knowledge of the industry and key people.

CGTF has become a company with a very strong international flavour and leading projects all over the
world, either with local CAP GEMINI subsidiaries or with partners. (operating in 20 countries, with
major projects across the different continents: Brazil, Mexico, Central Europe, Morocco, Bahrain,
Taiwan, etc.).
- Developed the France Telecom account, which is also the largest Capgemini global account. (> 100
M€/year)
 Delivery
- Decreased “production loss” by a 90% over the 96-99 period.(and then maintain quality )
- Projects delivered on time (e.g. New mobile operators launch), high customer satisfaction.
 People management
- From a management which was, in 1996, focused on technical issues, moved quickly the management to
become, also, client and people focused. Build, again, a strong professional and highly motivated team.

Financial
- Organic growth from 550 people to 1350 people in 4 years. 35% revenue growth over 3 consecutive
years (1998-2000) , then maintain profitability in “difficult” times (2001/2002).
