Descon Engineering is the Construction Contractor of 225 MW
Bhikki Power Project with Halmore Power Generation Company
(Pvt) Ltd. The Project is based on 2x6FA Gas Turbines from GE in
Combined Cycle Mode with Steam Turbine from GE. GE has also
signed 18 Years O&M Agreement with Halmore Power Generation
.
Worked with GE OIL & Gas Nuovo Pignone and also
with the GE Energy.
Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the erection of 2x6FA Gas
Turbines ,HRSG and also the Steam Turbine of GE at 225 MW
and its auxillaries related to the Gas turbine such as Lube oil
module , fuel gas module and Automizing module and also
Assembling of Transformers 25 MVA , 95 MVA and 100 MVA at
Bhikki Power Project .
The main responsibilities of Mechanical engineer are





To ensure the erection of GT,GTG, load gear, their
Structures Steam turbine and its auxillaries and
accessories, Modules, Interconnection and off-base
piping’s according to GE Standard Erection Procedures,
Drawings, Piping Isometrics, PID’s etc.
To manage the project and its resources in order to attain
targeted activities.
To prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.
To highlight and solve areas of concern and bottlenecks,
if any, in order to control the overall project schedule.
I have also experience of Gas Turbine interconnection &
off base piping work.I have done activity of pre
commissioning activity lube oil flushing & pressure tests
of Piping .
