(I)Asst. Manager (Machine shop) - 17/10/1992 to 14/05/1995.
Nature of Duties:Over all management of the Machine shop including procurement of tools, manufacturing
of LCA Engine components, various components and systems for DRDL and various
components for Rocket Engine and Control system components and assemblies for ISRO
programs.
(II) Asst. Manager/Dy. Manager (PPC) - 15/05/1995 to 15/10/1997.
During the period I was promoted as Dy. Manager on 17/10/1996.
With effect from 15/05/1995, I was in full charge and was exercising the power of
Manager(PPC).
Nature of Duties:(i) Estimation of drawings received from various divisions of ISRO, DRDL,GTRE,
HAL etc.
(ii) Preparation of process plans for various engines, Motors cases and components for
missiles, LCA Engine and Rocket Engine and other various components for ISRO.
(iii) Procurement of raw materials required for toolings and other parts.
(iv) Scheduling of manufacturing activities for various departments.
(v) Coordinating with various customers for technical activities.
(vi) Overall management of PPC including coordinating activities of various
departments.
(III) Dy. Manager (Fabrication) – 16/10/1997 to 12/12/2000.
During this period, I was promoted as manager Grade I on 17-10-2000.
I was exercising the powers of Manager from 16/10/1997 onwards.
Nature of Duties:(i) Overall management of fabrication, welding and heat treatment shops.
(ii) Fabrication of various motor cases for DRDL, L-40 tankage, fabrication and
welding of Titanium gas bottles, fabrication of Aluminium structures like thermal shroud
and protection plate GSLV program.
(iii) Fabrication and welding of LCA Engine components for GTRE.
(IV)Manager (Corporate Planning & MIS) – 13/12/2000 to 30/03/2001.
Nature of Duties:This included interaction with concerned departments to identify the problems regarding
production and to take necessary remedial measures what ever possible to increase
production and sales target.
(V). Manager(Machine Shop) - 31/03/2001 to 16/10/2004.
Nature of Duties:(i) Over all management of machine shop to achieve production targets.
(ii)
Manufacturing of Vikas Engine for GSLV/ PSLV programs.
(iii) Manufacturing of various precision and high precision Rocket Engine components
for VSSC,LPSC and IISU.
(iv) Machining of various types of Titanium Gas bottles for ISRO and DRDL.
(v) Manufacturing of various motor cases for DRDL.

I have worked as Asst.Engineer (Tool Room) from 27/07/1984 to 14/12/1987 and as
Senior Engineer (Machine Shop) from15/12/1987 to 30/04/1991. I also worked as
Asst.Manager (Assembly) from 01-05-1991 to 16-10-1992.
The natures of duties during this periods are given below.
1. Achievement of Production Target.
2. Over all management of Machine Shop and Heat Treatment Shop.
3. Fabrication of Tools, Jigs and Fixtures.
In addition to the above assignment, I was in full charge of execution of sub contract
undertaken from various division of VSSC/ LPSC, Thiruvananthapuram for fabrication
of various precision components of rocket Engine and Control systems.
