Responsible for supporting the Associate Deans with overseeing all graduate business
programs and all of the rankings for the School of Mangement.
UT Dallas Executive MBA Program

Responsible for developing leaders with the necessary skills, tools, and competencies to
lead sustainable organizations in today’s global marketplace. Manage all aspects of
student recruiting including creating non-traditional events with professional
organizations. Co-led and supervised international study tours abroad to Argentina and
Chile. Oversee the upgrade and launch of ACT! (Contact management database) and
assure all staff is trained on the new software. Mange ACT! for recruiting new EMBA
classes and corresponding with EMBA alumni. Hired and supervise admissions
coordinator to ensure a seamless process for applying to the program (from copresenting at information sessions to the final interview of prospective students). In
cooperation with others, call on companies to sell customized corporate training
programs and to recruit EMBA students. Oversee the development of an alumni
outreach program. Created and launched the first alumni e-newsletter and plan alumni
educational events on campus. Manage all aspects for AACSB accreditation data
gathering and reporting. Teach in the Student Directed Activity (SDA) program.
UT Dallas, Global Leadership Executive MBA (Blended) Program

2001–2007
Responsible for developing and enhancing the pedagogical focus on the necessary
skills, tools, and competencies to lead sustainable organizations in the global
marketplace. Acted as the key point person for all 13 courses in the Global Leadership
track. Teach three of the key international business courses including: Global Business
and sustainability, Multinational Firm, and International Corporate Finance. Co-led and
supervised all international study tours abroad for EMBA classes. Past trips include:
Poland, France, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Vietnam, and China. Assist in the
development of curriculum, present at workshops/retreats, and provide instructional
technology advancement and training. Present workshops on: working effectively in
global teams, critical thinking, and effective communication skills to all incoming
students in the EMBA Program. Oversee SACs and AACSB assessments for eleven
courses. Additionally, assist the program director with implementing and communicating
the goals and objectives of the program to all faculty, staff, and executives.
Trees for Humanity
Founder and Executive Director

Developed a Texas non-profit focused on collaborating with corporations, public
schools, utilities, universities, other NGOs, and individuals to educate the future
generations about the importance of sustainability and trees. The foundation is self-
funded by corporate donations from Whole Foods Market, ONCOR, Rennerwood Tree

Managed Admissions for the part-time MBA Program, which included 700 working
professionals. Responsible for marketing the program and recruiting 210 new
students each year. Developed marketing events at Fortune 500 corporations in the
Dallas marketplace and presented the Cox School and the part-time MBA program.
Conceptualized the e-business institute at Cox (ebi@Cox), which was structured as a
consortium of corporations (GTE, IBM, EDS, Ernst &Young, A.T. Kearney, Nortel,
Travelocity, Sabre, Oracle, and Fujitsu) in partnership with the Cox School of Business.

Designed, structured, and implemented project for clients’ ventures and global
expansion plans in new markets. Developed strategies for clients’ international
investments including: joint venture matching, foreign exchange exposure, regulatory

Provided oversight as a financial advisor and strategy analyst on Fortune 500 contracts.
Sample of projects include: Assisted Amoco Oil Company executives to analyze the
financial viability of vendors bidding on the next generation of PC-based point of sale
systems. Provided oversight as a project team leader in developing a five-year
international strategy plan for Global Information Systems (GIS) the former NCR/AT&T.
Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC)

Implemented the consulting practice of newly formed Investor Services Department.
Acted as in-house financial consultant to develop business plans enabling overseas
projects to qualify for OPIC loans and political risk insurance. Charged with expanding
OPIC's customer base by engineering global investment opportunities for American
businesses. Advised U.S. corporations on potential joint ventures in Latin America,
Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and the NIS. Led investment missions of
U.S. business executives to Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Egypt, Tunisia, and Israel to
foster strategic investment opportunities.
Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC)

Managed all phases of structuring loans for U.S. government agency, which promotes
private sector investment in developing countries. Conducted on-site visits and
interfaced with U.S. Embassy and host government officials to determine financial
viability of projects. Presented projects to OPIC Board of Directors for loan approval.
Negotiated terms and conditions of finance agreements with corporate executives.
Sample of projects financed include: a $50 million investment guarantee ("IG") to Kaiser
Aluminum Corporation and Norsk Hydro to mine and refine bauxite in Jamaica;
development of a $100 million Environmental Growth Fund; a $30 million IG to Bell
South and Motorola to establish a cellular telephone system in Argentina; a $9 million IG
to the Pioneer Group (a major mutual fund company) to develop a gold mine in Ghana;
and a $6 million loan to develop a free trade zone in the Dominican Republic.
