A progress report on University-funded research is required to be submitted annually
on the anniversary date of the awarding of the research funds. The report must be
approved by the School RGA committee and the Faculty Director of RGA. An
unsatisfactory report may result in a recommendation that the project be postponed
or discontinued, and that further project funds be withheld.
Please add further pages with the information specified on the next page. Do not
include that page with your application, but attach your material to this cover sheet.
Your report should be concise, and contain not more than five or so additional singlespaced pages, printed double-sided.
Your report should include sections dealing with the following:
(1)
Introduction and objectives – state concisely what were the original aims of the
research, and if any modification of these has been required.
(2)
Progress to date – give a chronological overview of all research activities
undertaken so far, including travel and locations. Assess how the project is
working out, in terms of logistics as well as in its academic aspects.
(3)
Work remaining – Give a short summary of what there is still to be
accomplished.
(4)
Budget report – this should be laid out following the notes below.
