Anger takes away the sweetness of human nature and destroys the beauty of his soul and gives one the appearance of demon. 2. So long as any dark force operates in your mind, so long as your consciousness is in the firm grip of ego, the voice of indweller cannot be heard by you. 3. Prayer, patience and perseverance should be your constant companions. Let your eyes be moist with love but sparkle with courage and confidence. -DIVINE MOTHER SREE RAMA DEVI QUOTES FROM BHAGAVAD -GITA Sanskrit: Meaning:- Email: -ramadevimandir@yahoo.co.in TELE: -PRESIDENT (RES):-04872332262 SECRETARY (RES):-04872305500 MOBILE 9447285405 GLIMPSES OF DIVINE Poojya Sree Bhagawan It is sheer rapture to recollect the chance meeting of Divine Mother at Gouri Mutt, Her parental home at Mangalore. On a sunny afternoon in May 1948, when slices of delicious mangoes were doled out to this humble self by Divine Hands. The flowing tenderness of expression, a beautiful countenance never before beheld by me, the majestic attitude, the regal bearing and well chiseled features, especially the forearms and the Lotus Feet, more so the toes, got imprinted in the deepest recess of a boy’s young brain. Here was somebody who could not be forgotten, whose countenance got reproduced on objects beheld, and whose smiling face always poured out countenance and joy. Probably it was too late to imbibe spirituality or allied things or it may be that the receptive faculty was not yet developed or properly tuned to receive higher truths in that young age. The imprints though made in the deepest niches of memory, were soon sheathed with other boyish vocations impulses, studies and sports until may 1948, when I walked Divine Mother again, rending asunder the cobwebs of apparent forgetfuness, this time with Her spiritual perfection, it so seemed to the young university graduate that I was, and irresistible divine power, spelling out spiritual dictums with all the assertions at Her command…… It should be mentioned at this juncture that during a span of seven years from 1941 to 1948, though I had the good fortune of meeting many religious and holy personages in the company of my beloved father and Gadiarrajja both of them had not met Divine Mother until 1948,my mental and emotional states remained uninfluenced by these meetings…... Coming to think of it one thought that She knew nothing of academic philosophy ,because She was deeply engrossed in Bhajans,Samadis and in extolling the glories of the Lord, like Tukaram,Merra bai and other saints of yore, in the late forties and early fifties until about 1957.She never propounded theories and was contented to live a life of devoted wife and an efficient housewife., always smilingly welcoming guests and looking after their comforts meticulously.True,self-effacement was the rare trait of personal character and attitude of ancients. Thus there was no intention on the part of Divine Mother to declare to others about Her personal spiritual achievements. But truth and light cannot remain hidden for long. RAMA SAKTHI MISSION BULLETIN 79 PAGE 2 WORDS OF WISDOM QUOTES FROM THIRUVALLUVAR Tirukural 281 : He who wishes not to be scorned by others guards his own mind against the slightest thought of fraud. Tirukural 283: A fortune amassed by fraud may appear to prosper but will all too soon perish altogether. Tirukural 285: Benevolent thoughts and kindly feelings flee from those who watch for another's unwatchful ness to swindle his property. Tirukural 286: Those who walk deceit's desirous path cannot hope to work wisdom's measured way. GLIMPSES OF DIVINE (contd from last page) Even in the early fifties when I had known Her a little more closely, Her life expressed itself in significant varieties of creative activities; sense of discipline and austere practices, love for the forlorn and a superb capacity for management of domestic chores. This held forth an observer clear visions of Her future greatness, Her life being a continual poem of indomitable spiritual power. Few indeed saw through the veil of Maya the Supreme Immensity then and blessed indeed were they. Even at present it needs but a moment’s thought and again we behold her in early fifties swaying in perfect rhythm the cymbals and all on sudden eyeballs were being transfixed between eyebrows passing off into a state of Samadhi remaining in the same posture for hours like an alabaster statue. That mind and body are moved, presided over and dominated by a Higher Power was slowly understood by me; the subordination of the objective to the subjective made some impact on the reasoning of mine; that one’s deepest being is one with the divine ground of entire creation-Brahman, was accepted on the intellectual level. Needless to say that divinity of Mother the immaculate purity of Her life, Her blissful freedom and dimensionless heart, these were progressively revealed. Nothing in the early days of my life struck me so forcefully so repeatedly as Her deep unspoken consciousness and piety of life unimaginable. The core of Her divinity appeared to me to be masculine in its quality as compared to Her outer personality of Motherly fraternity, a fact responsible for the development in me of lasting devotion towards Her. I loved Her and love Her and continue to love Her all the more for the vehement condemnation of unrighteousness and inflexible sternness with which She alone can correct the erring. Let it me understood that it is in Her Supreme Immensity that we all live and have our being. (This is an article written by Poojya Sree Bhagawan in the Jan.1975 issue of ‘Santi Dipam’,a spiritual journal of Rama Sakthi Mission. The concluding part will be published in the next Bulletin) RAMA SAKTHI MISSION BULLETIN 79 THIRUVALLUVAR PAGE3 LALITHA ASHTOTHARAM 62. Samastha Deva Danuja Prerakayai Namo Nanmh!
