AMRUTHAVANI.
Life is full of temptations. Inherited tendencies of the mind burst upon
even the well controlled mind of advance seeker, in a moment of nonvigilance. It becomes impossible for the seeker to resist the onrush of
those tendencies through his own self effort. A hundred forces works
in you to pull you away from the Master’s Feet. The ego mind is
utterly powerless to overcome temptations. Your philosophical
reflections, your devotion to idealism, your hard tapasya, all may prove
powerless before the attack of powerful vasanas of the mind and
temptations of the world. Even great sagely persons and divine
incarnations had to face the ordeal of temptations before they won final
victory over nature. Satan came to Jesus to take Him away from the
blessed presence of Heavenly Father. Mara appeared before Buddha to
prevent Him from entering into Nirvana. If greater is your spiritual
advancement, more powerful will be the nature of temptations too.
Take refuge in world-Mother who is Mahamaya.She will take you
safely across the world of temptations.

This Mantra was imparted at twilight; thereby indicating that it can be
uttered at anytime of the day or night. It was also imparted to everybody
present at the Bhagawan Memorial Hall (at Sakthinagar)-Hindus,
Muslims Christians etc.This shows that Divine Mother wanted all
humanity to chant the Mantra. It also brings out the fact that Divine
Mother belongs to whole universe. This Mantra has special significance
in that it can be chanted by anyone at anytime anywhere unlike some
other Mantras which have to be chanted in a specific period.

VISION AND MEDITATION
Sri.K.N.Krishnan Namboodiri
After Vigraha Pratishta in Trichur Mandir the
morning meditation was scheduled to be
betweem6.30 AM and 7-30AM.Some devotees
were fully utilizing this meditation time for doing
meditation according to Divine Mother’s
instruction. One among them was Smt Saraswathy
Amma.She was very particular in doing morning
meditation without any fail. She was getting good
concentration throughout meditation time and peace
and bliss she acquired from it was beyond words. It
was a usual practice that she will share her
meditative experiences with Sri.T.N.K.Nayar.
But one day it so happened that she did not get any
concentration at the time of meditation. After some
time she opened her eyes and her mind was restless.
The same experience continued for some days. She
discussed this also with Sri Nayar.Nayar said,”
Don’t worry about it. It may be Divine Mother’s
Will”. Sri Nayar suggested one remedy. He told,” I
will give you a remedy. You keep on gazing at
Divine Mother’s Vigraha and meditate with eyes
opened.”Smt Saraswathy Amma without ant doubt
decided to do so. Next day when she started
meditating, she sat just in front of Divine Mother’s
shrine looking at Divine Mother’s Vigraha. About
fifteen minutes passed. Suddenly, she saw a
wonderful sight.
Around the Vigraha some misty cloud was seen. She
sat there with wonder without withdrawing her eyes
from the vigraha. Then that mist was changed to
lustre of silver and again changed to golden color. In
that golden lustre, the entire surrounding was
dissolved .She felt that golden lustre was spreading in
the atmosphere of the hall and she was immersed in
that divine lustre. Saraswathi Amma suddenly
prostrated before the shrine chanting Navakshari
Manthra.When she got up after prostration, the entire
scene had changed and she could see vigraha, shrine
and everything as before. When she said to Sri Nayar
about it, he said that it was for granting this
experience Divine Mother made such restlessness
during her meditations. Afterwards her meditations
became again fully peaceful and blissful.

Vedam
Vedam is eternal, without beginning or end and is Apourusheyam (not of human origin). The word
Apourusheyam means, Rishis or "Manthra Drashtas" were only a medium for revelation of Mantrams, and
their individuality just disappeared while composing the Riks of Vedams due to their Divine Enlightenment.
Its contents are the expressions in words - prose, verse and song / music - of the divine inner
visions of truth experienced by the ancient saints, sages and seers (Rishis). There are four Vedams - Rik,
Yajus, Saamam and Athharvam. The Manthrams with Chhandass are in verse and are found in all the four
Vedams; the prose form is found in Yajurvedam; while Saamam is a musical version of the Chhandass
Manthrams.
It is said that Rigvedam evolved from Agni (fire / energy), Yajurvedam from Vaayu (air / wind),
and Saamavedam from Sun. Just as among the gods, Agni is considered as the primary one, Rigvedam is
taken as the prime Vedam, while the others are its derivatives in a sense, but important in their own way.
Vedam contains the end goal, the means of achieving the goal, and in fact, every aspect of knowledge
which one is seeking. The seed of a tree cannot give all the details of the tree into which the seed transforms,
till it actually germinates and grows. In humans, even the latest DNA analysis of genes cannot give the
precise characteristics and behavioural pattern of the individual and the transmission of traits from
generation to generation, until the seed develops in the mother's womb and later grows outside it. In the
same manner, the meanings and concepts contained in the Veda Manthrams cannot be fully grasped until
they pass through the divine and sharp minds of the learned sages, and then they are developed for our
consumption in the form of Smruthis, Puraanams, Ithihaasams, etc. Thus,
"Vedey Sarvam
Prathishtthitham" is literally and unequivocally true, with Sarvam representing "entirety" in a far superior
