AMRUTHAVANI

free yourselves from the ego and vasanas.When ego and
vasanas are liquidated through devotion or bhakthi,the
devotee becomes the nature of satchidananda.His body
becomes a veritable flute of God.

A cultured life is the highest attainment. Divine Mother
used to teach us that richness lies in following our culture
just as our ancestors and sages did. Our forefathers were
not educated, but they were highly cultured and that is
why, they could lead a happy, peaceful and contented
life.
Let us go back to our past by following our own
traditions, so that we can reach the pinnacle of existence
as in the olden days when India was blessed with wealth,
strength and beauty

When divine Mother visited Royal Palace at Trivandrum,in response to my father’s prayerful
wish expressed Her readiness to visit our home in the flowing day morning with a group of Her
disciples. We were in a sea of bliss. My father who had accompanied Mother to ‘Menakhsi
Mandiram where Mother was staying, brought two cooks from there. He told me I should take
entire responsibility. The whole night was spent in preparing sweets and delicacies. I got
everything ready for fifty persons although my father told about 30 persons might be expected for
breakfast.
Divine Mother arrived at 8 A.M. with a group of 30 devotees. Bhajan started and Divine Mother
went into Samadhi.From that ecstatic state divine utterances began to flow like a stream. After half
an hour Mother descended to normal consciosness. In the mean time visitors began to swell in
number. I looked at my father and he looked at me. We were embarrassed and did not know what
to do. Mother divined our thoughts and gazed at us with as significant smile. She came to our
rescue and said,” Why children, why do you worry? Where is the place for anxiety and fear when
Mother is here? Have faith.” Saying this Divine Mother walked into the room where the sweets
and other things were kept. Mother came back and smiled and sat in Her seat.
A simple look of Divine Mother at the vessels in which sweets were kept converted them into
‘Akshay Patra’. It was time to serve coffee to all. The number of persons who had arrived came to
more than a 100 by that time. All were seated in batches. We were surprised to find that there were
enough sweets for all. The cooks who prepared the sweets could not find words to express their
surprise The devotees who took sweets said that the sweets tasted extra ordinary sweeter. A lot of
sweets still left after serving to all. If this is not divine miracle, I donot know what else it.
