PERFORMING ARTS & MC COY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT are thrilled to
present the Tony Award-winning (2008 Best Play Revival), hilarious, sexy, non-stop
comedy, BOEING-BOEING, written by Marc Camoletti, translated by Beverley
Cross & Francis Evans and directed by Jeff Maynard. BOEING-BOEING will
preview on Friday, January 18, 2013 (with a press opening on Saturday, January
19) and runs through Sunday, February 10, 2013 at La Mirada Theatre for the
Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.
In this Tony Award-winning comedy, a self-styled playboy, Bernard, has French,
German, and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent
“layovers.” He keeps "one up, one down and one pending" until unexpected
schedule changes bring all three to Bernard's apartment in Paris, France all at the
same time which leads to unexpected and very funny escapades.

ABOUT THE CAST AND CREATIVE TEAM
JEFF MAYNARD (Director) is excited to be back directing at La Mirada. Previous
show’s here include The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife starring Marilu Henner, The 25th
Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and the Pulitzer Prize winning Lost In Yonkers.
Other recent directorial credits include Bear In Mind at the Blank Theatre
Company’s Young Playwright’s Festival, collaborating with Jason Robert Brown on
a new, revised version of 13, the world premiere of Mad City by Meredith Stiehm
and a workshop of Dave Rossmer & Dan Lipton’s new musical Shoot! Cut! Print!
Kill! Die! He is proud to be a founding member of Buffalo Nights Theatre
Company, having directed, acted or produced over 15 productions including: The
Final Judgment, Modigliani, Meat, Anatol, Salome, Sophistry and The Madman &
The Nun. He won a Drama-Logue Award for Max Frisch’s The Firebugs, a
Backstage West award for The Apollo of Bellac and LA Weekly’s Revival
Production of the Year award for Modigliani. Also in Los Angeles, he has directed
the West Coast Premiere of the Ovation award nominated Tales of Tinseltown by
Michael Colby and Paul Katz – at the Actor’s Co-op. In upstate NY, Jeff’s
directorial work includes Nine, Seussical, Doubt, and The Laramie Project. As an
actor Jeff appeared in the first national tour/Los Angeles Premiere of Lost In
Yonkers at the Doolittle Theatre, Biloxi Blues at the Court/Hudson Theatres, Enter
Laughing & Taking Stock at the A.J.U.’s– “Let There Be Laughter” series, and TV
appearances on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Diagnosis
Murder and the upcoming feature film The Illusion. Jeff currently runs the theatre
program at Mirman School, teaches private acting classes throughout Los Angeles
and is a graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film & Television.

ABOUT THE SCHEDULE AND PRICING
BOEING-BOEING will begin performances on Friday, January 18, 2013 (with a
press opening scheduled for Saturday, January 19) and runs for four weeks through
Sunday, February 10.
Performances will be 7:30pm on Wednesdays & Thursdays; 8pm on Fridays; 2pm
and 8pm on Saturdays; and 2pm on Sundays.
There will be no matinee performance on Saturday, January 19. Talkbacks with the
actors will be on Wednesday, January 23 and Wednesday, February 6

McCOY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT (Tom McCoy & Cathy Rigby McCoy, Executive
Producers)Tom McCoy and Cathy Rigby are in their 18th season as Executive Producers of
the McCoy Rigby Entertainment Series at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. Since
the 1994/95 Season, McCoy Rigby has produced over 75 plays, musicals, concerts, dramas, and
comedies. MRE has also produced several Broadway productions and National Tours
including Peter Pan, Seussical the Musical both starring Cathy Rigby, Jesus Christ Superstar
starring Carl Anderson, Camelot formerly starring Michael York and through 2008, starring
Lou Diamond Phillips, and Happy Days, The Musical. They are excited to launch the tour of
JEKYLL & HYDE starring Constantine Maroulis and Deborah Cox, which will land on
Broadway in the Spring of 2013. Since 1990, Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby has made 4 stops
on Broadway, garnering four Tony Nominations including Best Revival of a Musical and Best
Actress in a Musical. Other credits include the A&E Television Network Premiere of “Peter
Pan,” which received 4 Emmy Award Nominations and one Emmy Award; “The Historic All
