JOB DESCRIPTION POST: LECTURER (CASUAL) RESPONSIBLE TO: CURRICULUM TEAM MANAGER MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB To teach on, and further develop, a range of courses within your Curriculum. COLLEGE RESPONSIBILITIES 1 To show commitment to the College and its internal and external customers. 2 To represent the College in a professional manner at all times. 3 To respect colleagues and students at all times. 4 To contribute to the College's annual Self-Assessment Report. 5 To demonstrate commitment to College Policies including Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity and Quality improvement. 6 To participate in staff development activities as appropriate to the role. 7 To assist colleagues and other Departmental Teams to ensure an efficient and effective cross-College service. 8 To fully support the College Values at all times. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. To teach a range of Curriculum courses to all levels. 2. To undertake organisational/admin duties related to teaching duties. 3. To undertake recruitment, enrolment and induction programmes. 4. To maintain appropriate student records. 5. To undertake monitoring, evaluation and assessment procedures to support the progress and achievement of student learning. 6. To take an active part in the everyday operational organisation of the Curriculum and its work and contribute to implementing a quality policy and procedures. 9. To observe the College's Health & Safety Policy and fulfil all relevant responsibilities in relation to Health & Safety Policy and procedures. 10. To maintain appropriate student records. 11. Such other duties connected with the post as may reasonably be required. 12. To undertake a minimum of 30 hours (pro rata) continual professional development. 13.
