The purpose of the ICN session, School Dental Screenings, is to provide
knowledge and guidance on meeting the school screening requirement.
School nurses will be part of an integrated network of health care
professionals who will assist in ensuring that dental screenings are
completed.

ICN session participation (no partial credit available). Apply for Nursing CE by sending the
application including your name, signature, address, and IBON license number by September
30, 2008 to Sara Schlievert, Iowa Department of Public Health, Oral Health Bureau, Lucas
Building, 321 E 12th Street, Des Moines, IA, 50319, sschliev@idph.state.ia.us, or fax 515-242-6384.
Summarized evaluations, record of attendance, and Iowa nurse license number will be
submitted to IBON provider #94, and a certificate will be mailed to eligible participants when
processed around late November.
