assurance impact of waterflooding existing field, determined pressure requirements, lines /pumps
sizing, case for methanol use, sea water filtration/treatment.
 Bonga NW, OPL 245 projects (Offshore Nigeria): Developed flow assurance and operability
strategies; In addition to CPP activities above; validated PVT reports, assessed reservoir P,T
uncertainties, wellbore geometry, uncertainties and location of SCSSV vs. Hydrates issues. Evaluated
various opex scenarios wrt. chemicals for mitigation of flow assurance risks, blowdown or
depressurization of hydrates plug from both ends of flowline to balance pressure drop, Chilly choke
analysis due to extremely JT cooling. Training and development of young Nigeria (NETCO) flow
assurance engineers.
 Bonga SW/A project (Offshore Nigeria): Hydraulic modelling of water injection systems using
PIPESIM tool. Comprises ~ 40 injector wells (phase 1 and phase 2 pre-investment), two single 12”
internally coated water injection flowlines, connecting two four hub manifolds. Incorporating learnings
from Bonga main project, transient (surge analysis).

Nimr 3rd Large FWKO Tank Study: Supervised contractor staff in preparation of project brief and
justification. Identification, evaluation and selection of optimum location for the Free Water Knock
out tank. Identification of the piping tie-in points to minimise cost and shutdown deferment.
Installation of Temporary Pipelines for Replacement of Nimr-C Pipeline: Emergency
temporary replacement of 10km section of a 28” multiphase pipeline. Identification of tie-in points
and manifold configurations to minimise oil deferment. The replacement pipelines were designed
and installed within four months to prevent significant oil deferment.

pre-FID phase. Working in BG’s multidisciplinary team, I have developed facilities definition to
assist CAPEX and OPEX estimation feeding into economics, prepared the scope of work for the
conceptual study. I carried out Lifecycle Cost analysis to determine optimum development
