Your Biome is _____________________
Introduction
You and a partner are to pretend you are travel agents hired to design a travel brochure
featuring one of the major biomes: tundra, tropical rain forest, desert, temperate deciduous
forest, grassland, rivers and ponds, wetlands, coral reef, deep ocean, and taiga. You may pick
one of the following biomes.
You will then use informational websites to create a brochure. Be Creative!
Go to the following website for websites that may help you with your research:

 Make sure to click on the Environmental Science Tab
 Click on Chapter 7 and Scroll to the Bottom for reliable websites!
You will be given class time to complete this project, but you may also work on the assignment
at home. You will only be given two days in the computer lab for this project. In other words,
use your time wisely. This is a major grade!

The project may be created using Microsoft Office

When starting a new document click on brochure templates to help you with the layout.
It should be at least a tri-fold brochure and each fold is considered a page of the
brochure. When done with this project, please share with me via the following email:

of the Internet will be fine just as long as you cite where it came from.

The locations must be clearly labeled with the name of the biome.
