11. Learning Outcome
of Subject
At the completion of the subject, students should be able to :
 Understand the material properties of semiconductor and superconductor.
 Understand the operation principles of semiconductor devices such as diode,
bipolar transistor, JFET, MOSFET and their applications in electronic
circuits.
 Understand the operation principles of microwave devices such as TED,
IMPATT and their applications in microwave and electrical engineering.
 Understand the concept and operation principles of superconductor devices
such as Josephson devices, SQUID and their applications.
 Undertake, under supervision, laboratory experiments on diode, BJT, JFET,
MOSFET of electronic circuits.
