The study, which can be carried out using either a tracer or a non-tracer technique enables us to identify and quantify the extent of mal-distribution occurring within the column and thereby allows the vessels operation to be modified, if required, and optimised. Features of the TRACERCO Diagnostics™ - Distribution Study A rapid and reliable method of characterising the process conditions that exist within a packed bed. Provides real-time data Can use a non intrusive technique (non-tracer) Tracer technique mimics material flow regime No sampling is required and no vessel preparation is required Rapid response available from Tracerco Able to link in with Computerised Fluid Dynamic CFD models to verify existing process conditions Benefits of the TRACERCO Diagnostics™ - Distribution Study Confirms actual operating conditions within the packed bed (mal-distribution) Allows the customers to optimise performance of the packed bed Identifies if higher production through vessel is possible Enables customers to optimise maintenance strategy for the vessel Greater understanding of production rates relationship with carryover, pressure drop, etc. 533574378 Page 3 of 4 Tracerco Diagnostics TM Job data sheet 06/03/2016 Optimisation & Control of Reactors The reaction of raw materials into valuable products and by-products is a key process operation on our customers chemical facilities and Tracerco fully understand that the efficiency of this process can have a dramatic effect on the efficiency of the overall facility. That is why we have developed and brought to market a range of process diagnostic techniques and specialist measurement products to help our customers extract the greatest valve from their manufacturing assets. The techniques, which are listed below, are nonintrusive, provide real-time data and allow our customers to fully understand and optimise their reaction vessels, saving both time and costs. 533574378 TRACERCO Diagnostics™ ThruVision The use of the TRACERCO Diagnostics™ ThruVision tomography system provides a powerful non-intrusive inspection tool to examine the contents of pipelines and vessels across a wide range of process industries. TRACERCO Diagnostics™ Scan A rapid, reliable, robust and non-intrusive technique which is able to locate the level and if present the interface between materials within a reaction vessel. The technique is also able to locate deposit build-up within the vessel and its associated pipe-work TRACERCO Diagnostics™ Flow Study A technique which can accurately measure and confirm the flow rate of material into and out of the reactor, through pipelines and vent headers. TRACERCO Diagnostics™ Residence Time A reliable and accurate technique, utilising novel tracer technology used to measure the residence time within a reactor vessel. The technique provides realtime data for our customers and the detection is nonintrusive. TRACERCO Diagnostics™ Leak Study A technique which can accurately measure and confirm the extent of leakage or by-passing within reactors. The technique utilises novel tracer technology and is totally non-intrusive. TRACERCO Diagnostics™ Distribution Study The TRACERCO Diagnostic™ - Distribution Study allows are customers to fully understand the distribution conditions within their reactor vessel, enabling optimisation to be undertaken.
