Les Misérables: The Story
In 19th century France, Jean Valjean is released from years of unjust
imprisonment, but finds nothing in store for him but mistrust and
mistreatment. He breaks his parole in hopes of starting a new life,
initiating a life-long struggle for redemption as police inspector Javert,
who refuses to believe Valjean can change his ways, relentlessly
pursues him. Finally, during the Paris student uprising of 1832, Javert
must confront his ideals after Valjean spares his life and saves that of
the student revolutionary who has captured the heart of Valjean's
adopted daughter.

Berger (L
(Lovely
l Lady,
L d Hair &
Makeup, Student Choreographer)
began her Mullen Theater career last
year as “Velma VonTussle” in
Hairspray! This year she returns to the
musical stage as “Lovely Lady #1”, a
Make-Up and Hair Crew member,
and, utilizing her longtime passion in
dance, a student choreographer. She
thanks you for coming to the
performance!
Alyssa Coe (Sound) is in her second
year in Mullen Theatre. Theatre has
made her appreciate the arts and the
importance of community. Some of
Alyssa's favorite things are puppies,
rainbows, and glitter. When not at
theatre, she binge watches Gossip Girl.
She hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Kaitlin Donovan (Properties Head,
MHS Theatre President) Kaitlin has
been a witness to the magic of Mullen
Theatre for the past 10 years, with her
older sisters coming before her. Since
the start of her career with the play
You Can't Take It With You to the final
musical Les Misérables, she has
experienced what it truly means to be
a part of a family.
Landis Hagerty (Construction) has
had a great year working, in Mullen
Theatre and is excited to see the
finished product of Les Misérables.
Isabel Brown (Old Woman, Factory
Girl, Student Choreographer) starting
dancing at age two and has since
taken to theatre, including her role as
“Amber” in Mullen’s 2014 Hairspray!
production. She was named an AllAmerican Dancer on the Poms team
and is active in many other clubs
including serving as Student Body
Vice-President.
Chad DeLine (Jean Valjean) started
singing when he was very young and
he has been carrying it with him ever
since. He is also a huge skier and
loves outdoor activities. This is his
first high school play. He is very
excited to be in Les Misérables and is
delighted to be your “Jean Valjean”!
Mary Kate Gleason (Female
Ensemble) joined theatre in Hairspray!
starring as a smoking prostitute; her
family had never been so proud. She
was blessed to be in Les Misérables,
which is a huge accomplishment since
she can’t hear, therefore cannot sing.
Mary Kate likes to run (Netflix)
marathons and take bubble baths. She
thanks all of her family for their
support.
Kristen Hietala (Makeup Head) has
been on makeup crew and taken on
many roles during her four Mullen
years, from a horse to a housekeeper,
but her favorite was the oblivious
“Intern Dana” in the stage adaptation
of Welcome to Nightvale. This
production, she has mainly focused
on makeup and set construction. She
will dearly miss the Mullen stage!
Adriana Hilario (Costumes Co-Head)
has been part of Mullen theatre for
three years, and has participated in
construction and run crew and
costumes. When she is not backstage,
you can find her working at Panera. It
is a bittersweet year for Adriana, as her
theatre career is coming to an end.
Thank you for coming and enjoy the
show.
Izze Johnson (Sound Co-Head) has
been involved in Mullen theatre since
her junior year. She played “Tracy” in
Mullen's production of Hairspray!,
directed the one act Memory, and has
done sound for the two most recent fall
plays, School for Scandal and As You Like
It. In her free time she embodies the
spirit of Stevie Nicks and reads lengthy
novels to her dog Keegan.
Erin LoCoco (Madame Thenardier,
Costumes) is basically a queen. She is
positively ravishing in her
“Thenardier” costume. She will be
attending The University of Colorado
at Boulder next year to study
engineering and will be in the Naval
Reserve Officer Training Corps. It’s her
life’s goal to build a missile and paint it
pink. Y’all better watch out.
Jonothon Pollard-Durodola
(Construction) has been involved in
many tech crews since he transferred in
his sophomore year. Although he will
miss Mullen Theatre and the many
friends he has made, he is excited to
attend DePaul University in the fall.
Micaela Jones (Female Ensemble,
Dramaturg) joined theatre on a whim
her freshman year, but only for a short
time, and she had to skip sophomore
year. She came back strong as “Rowley”
in School for Scandal and directed the hit
one act Welcome to Night Vale. She is
excited to be a part of Les Mis, and
hopes to direct in her future!
Joey Little (Construction & Sound) has
had a Mullen Theatre career for only
one show: Les Misérables, he hopes
everyone enjoys the show.
Theresa Nguyen (Makeup Head) has
been part of theater for three years now.
As head crew chief of the hair
department she is ready to turn your
hair-don't into a hair-do. With hair ties
on her wrist and bobby pins in her
mouth she is always ready for a
challenge.
Aislinn O'Kane (Female Ensemble) is
excited to make her debut in Mullen
Theatre with one of her favorite
musicals. She hopes everyone enjoys the
show!
Andie Panozzo (Cosette) stars in her
second production with Mullen Theatre.
She showed her dancing skills in last
year's production of Hairspray!, and
performed in a contemporary dance in
this year's “One Acts Festival”. She is
looking forward to continuing her
newfound love for the performing arts
in college.
Lisi Riccio (Hair & Makeup) has been
self-titled as the Mullen Theatre Queen
and has been in Makeup and Hair
Crew since this year’s fall play, As You
Like It. Outside of her life in Mullen
Theatre, she enjoys ice skating and
watching Netflix, especially “Hoarders:
Collection”.
Kristin Sachse (Factory Girl 5, Stage
Manager) slithered her way into
theatre by means of a snake puppet in
her first onstage performance as a
freshman. Since then, she has been a
widely sought after love interest, a
feisty blonde Puerto Rican, an English
war general, and the intuitive lovestruck cousin of Rosalind. Along with
singing in each “One Act Play
Festival”, she has recently acquired the
job of Stage Manager.
John Savage (Marius) has proudly
been a member of Mullen Theatre since
the “One Acts Festival” his sophomore
year. He is best known for his roles as
“Baby John” in West Side Story, “Link”
in Hairspray!, and now as “Marius” in
Les Misérables. He hopes everyone
enjoys the show as much as he does!
Katherine Stano (Lovely Lady) has
been acting in theatre productions for
all four of her years at Mullen. She
loves dessert, movies, and the
mountains. She has had many
memorable roles, her favorite being
the Porter in Macbeth. She is excited
to be a part of her favorite musical
Maya Rosengarten (Fantine) began her
career within Mullen Theater
sophomore year as “Maria” in West
Side Story, she was then a “Dynamite”
in Hairspray!, and now is very excited
to portray the role of “Fantine”. Maya
will attend The Catholic University of
America next year, majoring in nursing
with a minor in music. She thanks you
all for coming to the show!
Elena Santarella (Sound Co-Head)
began theater as a sophomore in the
one act play Icarus's Mother. From
there, her participation has included
acting in School for Scandal and Memory,
working on the sound crew for West
Side Story, Hairspray!, and As You Like
It, and directing the one act 13 Ways to
Screw Up Your College Interview. She
has relished her opportunity to bother
both cast and crew members for the
last four years.
Johnny Srsich (Foreman, Thenardier
Gang Member) has been a member of
Mullen Theatre since his freshman
year, participating in each “One Acts
Festival” until junior year when he
started doing the musicals. He has
played “Mr. Spritzer” and “Foreman”
in the musicals. He hopes that
everyone enjoys their time watching
Les Misérables!
Kristopher Walter (Bishop,
Thenardier Gang Member) is excited
to participate in his first Mullen
Theatre production, and hopes
everyone enjoys the show.

Erin LoCoco:
Erin, you have been an entertainer
ever since we can remember. It all
started with the first song you learned
by heart, “Cheeseburger in Paradise”.
As you grew, you added to your
repertoire. One of the most memorable
was your Halloween costume as a
Mariachi singer, strumming your
ukulele and singing “Ring of Fire”. So,
it is no surprise that you would be the
innkeeper’s wife in Les Misérables. We
wish you good luck in the play and
whatever you choose to do in the
future. Mom & Dad
Tess Osborne:
Congratulations Tess! Love, M, D, & J
