Meteorologist, Bob Ryan
Local Television Legend and Scientist
For more than 30 years, Bob Ryan was a welcome
presence on televisions in Washington D.C. homes,
bringing the latest forecast information to the D.C. area.
He has guided the D.C. community through numerous
weather events including winter storms, hurricanes, and
severe weather. He has degrees in both Physics and
Atmospheric Sciences, has worked in both research and
television, and has always been passionate about
educating the public, and especially students, about
meteorology.

Take Exit 23 "201 Kenilworth Avenue Bladensburg Greenbelt"
Proceed South on 201 in the direction of "Greenbelt Road and Bladensburg"
At 3rd light, turn right onto Paint Branch Parkway
Proceed approximately two miles to U.S. Route 1
Go straight across Route 1 onto Campus Drive. Continue straight around the circle "M" and travel up the hill.
Pass the Hornbake Library and the Psychology Department on your right
Stamp Student Union will be on your right.

Take the Green Line to the College Park metro stop.
You can catch a campus shuttle from the metro which will stop near the student union or it is approximately a
15 minute walk.
