Power Climber Wind Selected by AES Wind Generation for IBEX® 1000P
SEATTLE/BRUSSELS — Power Climber Wind, a division of SafeWorks, LLC, was selected by AES Wind
Generation to supply 100 units of IBEX® 1000P climb assist systems for GE 1.5 turbines at its 232.5MW
Buffalo Gap II project in Merkel, Texas.
Recently released, 1000P IBEX® climb assist system sets new standards for portability and durability, and
offers the same market leading performance of the IBEX® that users have come to expect. The system features a
durable, technician-tested and approved portable control box, which weighs just 8.5 pounds/ 4 Kgs.
The 1000P’s portable control box is easy to set up. Just click, plug and climb. The 1000P’s EasyClimb
Controller allows each user to customize assistance from 50 to 125 lbs (25 to 55 kgs), providing constant load
support regardless of climbing speed and provides true down-climb assist. The system is designed to be
installed in any wind turbine tower and significantly improves employee health and safety, as well as
productivity.
