Attendance Policy
According to Florida state law, in order for a student to be promoted to the next grade level, he/she must attend at
least 80% of the school days each year. Any student missing 20% or more days (excused or unexcused) will be
retained. For any questions regarding attendance, please see Sr. Amani.
Tardies Between Classes
Please remind your children of the importance of arriving to class on time. Five or more unexcused tardies in one month will
lead to one day of In-School Suspension (ISS). Parents will not be charged a fee.
Late Arrival to School
It is extremely important for students to arrive to school on time. Five unexcused tardies = 1 unexcused absence. Four days
of unexcused absence in one quarter will lead to one day of In-School Suspension (ISS). Parents will be charged $50.
