Cameron Knight – Professional Biography

Classically trained, Cameron has played roles from Shakespeare to August Wilson, working in major American Regional theatres, as well as in many voice overs and commercials.

Most recently, Cameron directed August Wilson's Seven Guitars at Carnegie Mellon

University. He also played the role of Ed in Halftime with Don at City Theatre's

Momentum Festival, Ned in Parlour Song by Jez Butterworth at Quantum Theatre, Dave

Robinson in Lombardi at the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and the title role in Othello with the Independent Shakespeare Company. In the spring of 2015, Cameron will be directing a staged reading of The House by Azre Khodr and performing in All the Names with Quantum Theatre.

Cameron received is Masters of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Delaware,

Professional Theatre Training Program training under Jewel Walker, Sanford Robbins,

Deena Burke, Joann Browning, Leslie Reidell, Steve Tague Andrew Wade, Anthony

Zerbe, Adrian Hall and Brian Protheroe. Cameron certified in Sanford Meisner technique with Larry Silverberg.

Recently, directed for Bricolage Theatre’s annual fundraiser B.U.S. a 24-hour play festival. Cameron was heard as the voice of the Bee for a Honey nut Cheerios spot and the “Guy” for the Pennsylvania Lottery.
