Summer Reading ~ 2015
Entering Grade 7:
Students will be assessed on all five books. Therefore, students should have all five books
available for reference for assignments during the first month of school. Students should
bring the books with them on Monday, September 14th, 2015. Students will be required to
have access to their books as the year progresses. These will be used for discussion and
larger units as the year progresses.

Supplies 2015-2016:
___ English - 1 and 1/2 inch binder
(1” is fine. Other subject’s papers are not to be kept in the English
binder.)
___ 1 pack of 5 or 8 tab dividers (8 tab is preferred but 5 is acceptable.)
___ 1 package index cards
___ loose-leaf paper (college ruled)
___ pens (blue or black ink only)
___ pencils (#2) (an eraser will be helpful)
___ a “jump” or “stick” drive (also known as a USB drive or flash drive) The drive may
be used for other classes but should have your child's name in it. If needed, I can help
students rename their USB drive.
___ Weekly newspaper (or monthly magazine for articles)

write down the web address.)
