Full Time Marketing Communications Coordinator Location – Leeds …………………………………………………………………………………………………………… We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Communications Officer to join our Marketing department at our head office in Leeds. Purpose & Scope In this exciting new role, the successful candidate will be promoting our vast portfolio of products and services to the UK and global markets. A highly important team member, the Marketing Communications Coordinator will support the Marketing Manager in the development of all content for print and digital whilst working closely with the Design Officer, will manage event logistics (hotels and accommodation when required), manage and implement the social media strategy and manage incoming media enquiries to maximise on positive coverage for Steeper Group. Main Responsibilities Develop engaging content across the Group appropriate for the specified audience, including the quarterly newsletter, website content and news, advertorials for trade publications, and work closely with the sales and clinical teams to ensure targeted and clinically accurate material is produced to include product updates and product brochures Coordinate mail shots, both electronically and printed Ensure that content is maximised for coverage across the Group Track spend and performance for all communications material Work closely with the Design Officer to maintain the image library and relevant consent forms, identifying any gaps and organising photography sessions internally and externally when required Manage and implement the social media strategy for Steeper Group to build online presence Update the website with new content when required Manage and respond to all media enquiries Build relationships with media contacts to include trade publications and consumer articles to generate positive media coverage Manage the logistics for events and exhibitions Hold responsibility for all central collateral (giveaways, event collateral, printed materials) Keep up to date with changing trends by scanning the external environment and make recommendations for improvements to processes and procedures Champion and ensure adherence to the Steeper Group brand guidelines throughout the company Contribute to the internal communications strategy Consistent proof reading of all materials – electronic and print Maintain company best practice and standards of professionalism Other duties within your capabilities as and when requested Knowledge, Skills & Experience Essential • • • • • • • • • • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role. Educated to Degree standard in Marketing, Events, Communications, Journalism or related field.
