Marketing & Events Co-ordinator – part time post
£22,000 – £25,000 pro rata (20 hours/week)
Can you keep us in the public eye, deliver our events programme,
and ensure we reach our key audiences? Every year, we help
thousands of people in Luton improve their health, and with your
help we can help thousands more. Joining our established team you
will take the lead promoting our local services as well as working
closely with marketing colleagues across the organisation to deliver
specific health improvement campaigns.
Live Well Luton is the county’s healthy lifestyle service. We offer free programmes of
advice and support to people that want to live a healthier lifestyle. Commissioned by
Luton Borough Council, our team of multi-skilled staff help our clients stop smoking, eat
healthier, get more active and lose weight. Every year we run a range of innovative
campaigns and events across the county.
Ideally you’ll have some experience or qualifications in a marketing or PR role but more
importantly you will have bags of energy and a willingness to juggle a varied and
demanding workload. The majority of people who use our services have heard about us
through our marketing activities or from other health professionals and you will play a key
part in ensuring we continue to reach our target audiences. With a knowledge and interest
in social media you will help get our message across using a variety of platforms and
marketing techniques.
You must be able to work flexibly with some evening and weekend working. Occasional
travel across the county and sometimes to London is also required so you must be a car
