Amicus ITS have an excellent opportunity for a Partner-led Marketing Manager to be based at
our Client site on Bedfont Lakes or in Amsterdam.
Overview
Over 90% of of our Client’s revenue is delivered by their partners. Partner-led marketing
works in conjunction with the Commercial Sales team (which covers small and medium sized
companies) and the Partner Organisation to ensure that our Client’s partners are informed,
enabled and incentivized to sell Cisco’s solutions to customers.
Our Client’s partner community is segmented in High, Virtual and Scalable touch.
About our Client’s marketing structure
The theatre partner-led team reports to the theatre Marketing lead and in turn to the European,
Middle East, Emerging and Russian (EMEAR) Marketing Director. There are five theatres within
EMEAR. Each Theatre has in-country Partner Marketing Managers (PMMs) aligned to the High
touch partner segment.
Our Client’s Partner Demand Centre (PDC) provides partner marketing coverage through a team
of Virtual Partner Marketing Managers (VPMMs), either in-country or virtually, aligned to the
Virtual touch partner segment. The PDC also provides packaged demand generation services
through pan-EMEAR marketing agencies for PMMs and partners to leverage.
Working alongside the Partner-led marketing, is a marketing-led team which markets directly to
the Commercial segment as well as to larger accounts in Public Sector, Enterprise and Service
Provider.
The role
Both the Partner Marketing Manager and Virtual Partner Marketing Managers work closely with
our Client’s Partner-led and Commercial Sales teams to build joint marketing plans with identified
partners and ensure that the co-marketing budget is leveraged to greatest impact against
targets and in-line with theatre marketing objectives. A key responsibility is for reporting of all
co-marketing results with assigned partners.

Build marketing relationships with assigned partners
Work as a virtual team with the PAMs/TBMs/VBMs to build joint marketing plans with
partners
Ensure that all co-marketing budgets are leveraged to greatest impact and in alignment
with theatre marketing goals, with agreed segmented partners and spent compliantly,
driving to achievement of business objectives and agreed pipeline targets
With operations team ensure that effective reporting is in place for all co-marketing
funds share as appropriate with relevant stakeholders, align to other sources of funding
where necessary
Scale marketing programs through partners ensuring elements of programs are
embedded in partner marketing efforts
Understand, drive usage and manage execution of Demand Generation Services as a
part of our Client’s co-marketing offering to partners through pan-EMEAR marketing
agencies
Deliver an integrated curriculum of training that drives awareness and usage of the
relevant co-marketing materials, promotions, programmes, tools and campaigns with
partners
Leverage quarterly best practices to share with the team
Required skill-set, experience and characteristics
•
Excellent Dutch communication and inter-personal skills in both local language and
English
•
Preferably experience of working in the Channel or for a vendor
•
Knowledge and experience in establishing and developing relationships with partner
organizations
•
Wide and proven knowledge of the marketing mix and therefore ability to consult and
advice partners on their marketing strategy and execution
•
Experience of working with and managing marketing agencies driving excellent
delivery, execution and results
•
Understanding of the technology industry
•
Understanding and ability to drive business results from marketing activity
•
Understanding of the importance in tracking Marketing Return on Investment,
preferably with experience in this area
•
Ability to manage budgets and complex process
•
Ability to work independently to pursue goals and thrive in a complex organization
within a virtual team
