Position Title: Education Advisor Location: Hiring Salary: $36,000 GA Real Estate Commission & Appraisers Board 229 Peachtree St NE International Tower, Suite 1000 Atlanta, GA 30303 Posting Date: August 6, 2015 Application Deadline Date: August 27, 2015 Description of Duties: The Education Advisor acts as a liaison between the Agency and the real estate and appraiser education community, as well as assisting licensees with education-related issues. Job responsibilities also include reviewing and approving applications for new Schools, Instructors and courses, as well as assisting applicants throughout the process. The Education Advisor is also responsible for maintaining School and Instructor files, attending education-related meetings and assisting applicants in understanding the education requirements for licensure. Minimum Qualifications: A 4-year college degree in a related field of study, or 5 years of experience in the education field, or the real estate and/or appraisal profession is required. The applicant must possess the ability to learn to use the agency’s computer systems and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. The ability to communicate accurate information to others in a professional and courteous manner and convey a willingness to assist is essential for this position. Candidates should also be trustworthy and have demonstrated responsible behavior in the past. Applicants should have references attesting to the candidates having work habits that exhibit a high level of commitment to perform their duties, operating effectively within an organization structure and fostering team spirit.
