Barry M. Feldman, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President, Management and Development
Barry Feldman has significant experience leading and managing complex organizations. He served as Chief
Operating Officer for the University of Connecticut, administering billion-dollar capital investment programs:
UConn 2000 and UConn 21st Century.
A skilled public sector leader, Barry served as town manager of several communities, including West Hartford,
Conn., where he helped foster a dramatic increase in economic development activity, capped by the construction
of the highly praised Blue Back Square project.
Barry is also an educator and researcher. He is a Visiting Professor of Public Policy at Trinity College, where he
teaches graduate classes in policy implementation and public policy. He also taught public policy at UConn. His
academic research interests include the impact of entrepreneurs in public organizations.

PERSONAL:
Barry and his wife, Clare, live and raised their three children in West Hartford. He is a military veteran with four
years of service in the U.S. Air Force. Barry’s two sons served tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan as U.S. Army
infantry officers.
